All students in the class have declared for the Higher Level paper for the mocks. The exam is 2hrs and 50 minutes in duration. You will need all of the allocated time. Do not omit any parts of any question. Make sure you revise the section on Maps and Aerial photographs as some sections on the Core and Elective may require you to use your skills in these.

This is the option question and is worth 80 marks in the exam. You are required to write an essay style answer consisting of 3-4 paragraphs on the topic. Each paragraph should be on a specific theme related to the topic. You should clearly attempt to include as many relavent examples as you can which will enhance your answer.

A typical example of a question in this section is question 18 from last year's paper: 'Describe and explain the characteristics of any one soil type you have studied' |
